The Kensington Magazine and new publication ‘Toute Allure’

In April Elizabeth Reid our resident Book Reviewer, reviewed ‘Tout Sweet’ by Karen Wheeler – a light hearted look at France.  This is  possibly the only ‘chic flic’ publication we have reviewed but then Karen does live closeby.   Since April Karen has worked on her second publication ‘Toute Allure’ – another chic flic about falling in love in rural France.  We were delighted when we were approached to ask our permission to use text from our review, for the back of this new publication.

Karen will be signing copies and holding a question/answer session at Waterstones in Kensington High St. on 9th September 2010 at 7.00 p.m.

A Summer’s evening in Holland Park

I recently went for a walk around Holland Park.   A beautiful summer’s evening – clear blue sky, children in the park, runners and dogs outdoing each other and the lighting for photography was amazing. I needed to take a picture of a tree to accompany Benedict’s article in the September edition. I came across this wonderful tree, and with the lighting as it was, it looked as though it had been sculptured. There’s nothing so exciting as good lighting for taking a great picture.
